President Buhari Extends IGP Mohammed Adamu’s Tenure By Three Months


President Muhammadu Buhari has on Thursday, February 4 extended the tenure of the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu by three months.

 

The Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammad Dingyadi, disclosed this to newsmen this afternoon.

 

According to him, the extension was necessary so as to give time for the proper selection of a successor to replace Adamu.

 

Adamu's tenure expired on Monday, February 1.
