#COVID19: 474 New Cases Of Coronavirus Recorded In Nigeria As Toll Hit 70,669

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), have announced that 474 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Wednesday, December 9, bringing the total infections in the country to 70,669.


According to the statistics released by the NCDC, the FCT recorded 180 new cases, the highest for the day, followed by Lagos with 134 new cases.


Other states with fresh cases include Kebbi-45, Adamawa-26, Plateau-16, Enugu-14, Taraba-14, Gombe-12, Nasarawa-8, Yobe-8, Rivers-5, Ogun-5, Kwara-2, Ekiti-2, Sokoto-2, and Osun-1.


Nigeria now has 70,669 confirmed cases of the viral disease. 65,242 patients have so far been discharged with 1,184 deaths recorded so far.
