Super Eagles Goalie, Maduka Okoye Joins Sparta Rotterdam On A Two-year Deal (Photos)
Nigerian goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, 20, has joined Dutch Eredivisie football club, Sparta Rotterdam on a two year deal from German Bundesliga side, Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Rotterdam announced the signing via its website and Twitter page, stating that the Nigeria’s Super Eagles shot-stopperOkoye has signed a two-year deal with an option of another two-year extension with the club.

“Sparta Rotterdam has strengthened itself, with the exception of the medical examination, with Maduka Okoye. The Nigeria international signs for two seasons, with an option for two more seasons, ” the announcement read. 


The German-born Nigerian football star started his youth career at Bayer Leverkusen before he moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf. 

Okoye also made his debut for the Super Eagles in an international friendly match against Brazil in Singapore last year.
