                              Max FM OAP, Iya Jogbo is dead
Popular Max FM radio presenter, Emmanuella Pobeni Adepoju, fondly refers to as Iya Jogbo, is dead.

The management of TVC Communications, owners of TVC, TVC News, and Max FM Lagos and Abuja in a statement released today said, Iya Jogbo died on Friday, July 24, after a brief illness from Bronchitis and an enlarged heart.

 She was known as the host of the afternoon show Wetin Dey on Max FM.

Speaking on behalf of the staff and management of TVC Communications and Max FM, Andrew Hanlon, CEO of TVC Communications said that the terribly sad news of Emmanuella’s passing today has sent a shock wave of grief and sorrow throughout the TVC Communications, and MAX FM family.

In his words, “Whilst we struggle to come to terms with her untimely passing, our hearts and minds are focussed solely on her beloved children and her immediate and extended family and friends.

  1. Whao, what a loss! I could remember Iya Jogbo, Wale Popopo and Tattafo then Wetin De on Radio continental, didn't know she's young like this though she sounded like old woman in that programme...RIP.
