
460 new cases of the novel Coronavirus were recorded in Nigeria on Wednesday July 8, as confirmed by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) via its verified Twitter handle @NCDCgov.
According to the data released by the health agency, Lagos state recorded highest cases of the day.
The new cases recorded across states in the country are as follows; Lagos-150, Rivers-49, Oyo-43, Delta-38, FCT-26, Anambra-20, Kano-20, Plateau-18, Edo-14, Bayelsa-13, Enugu-13, Osun-12, Kwara-10, Borno-8, Ogun-7, Kaduna-6, Imo-4, Bauchi-3, Gombe-3, Niger-2, Adamawa-1.
There are now 30,249 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and 684 deaths has been recorded in Nigeria.
12,373 patients have also been discharged from various isolation centers after recovering from the disease.
