The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Saturday, June 6 recorded 389 new cases of COVID-19 in the country, bringing the total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 12233.

According to the health agency, 66 of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, 50 in FCT, 32 in Delta, 31 in Oyo, 26 in Borno, 24 in Rivers, 23 in Edo, 23 in Ebonyi, 17 in Anambra, 17 in Gombe, 14 in Nasarawa, 12 in Imo, 12 in Kano, 12 in Sokoto, 8 in Jigawa, 7 in Ogun, 5 in Bauchi, 2 in Kebbi, 2 in Kaduna, 2 in Katsina, 2 in Ondo, while Abia and Niger state recorded 1 case each.

Nigeria now has 12233 confirmed cases of COVID19. 3826 patients have been discharged while 342 deaths have been recorded so far.
